How to send direct messages to your team members?

Gone are the days of switching messaging platforms to contact your team members. You can now effortlessly see your team members' status (online/offline) and send direct messages, all within the KrispCall app.

Direct messaging is available on all versions of KrispCall (desktop, web, Android, and iOS).

How to view your team member's status



You can quickly view your team member's status to know whether they are online. It doesn't mean you can't send direct messages to offline members.

On the left-hand panel underneath MEMBERS, you can see the team members in your workspace. If your team members are online, they will have the green bubble filled next to their picture icon.

Offline members will not have green the green bubble filled next to their picture icon.

Sending a direct message



You can send direct messages to your team members from your dashboard by following these steps:

Step 1: Log in to your dashboard using your login credentials (email & password) that you used while creating your account.



Step 2: Select the workspace where your team member is. The same team member can be in several workspaces, so select the one of your convenience.



Step 3: Click on the particular member under ‘MEMBERS.’ The click will prompt a conversation panel to open.



Step 4: Type in your messages on the conversational panel that says "Type your message here..." and click send.



This will enable you to have a text conversation with your team member instantly.

Note: We currently only offer 1-to-1 direct messaging and plan to offer group direct messaging in a future release.
