How to record calls on the desktop or web app?
You can effortlessly record your calls with KrispCall's web and mobile apps with a single click. All team members with access to that number can easily listen to call recordings.
The following steps will help you record your calls easily!
Your screen pops up with the call menu whenever you make or receive a call. By default, it is located at the bottom right of your screen; however, you can move it anywhere you like.
To record the call, click the record button ⏺️ on the call menu.
The system records your call until you pause it by clicking on the pause button or stop recording by clicking on the stop button.
Using either app, you can answer or make a call.
You can start recording the call by pressing the Record button on your mobile screen.
The conversation thread catalogs everything from simple text to call recordings. You can download, playback, pin or delete call recordings if you are the owner or an admin user. The "delete" option isn't available to users only.
Need to record all your calls on a specific phone number? Turn on the " auto-record " feature. Automate all your call recordings, and you won't have to hit record every time.
Here's how you can auto-record calls for a specific phone number.
Please note that you can record your calls only on Standard and Enterprise plans of KrispCall subscription.
Step 1: Log in to your dashboard using the credentials (email and password).
Step 2: On the left-hand side of the window, click on the settings. It will open up a settings panel.
Step 3: Click on the 📞 My Numbers, which will open up the My Numbers window with the list of your phone numbers.
Step 4: Select the specific phone number from the list. It will take you to a new window with various options like Auto Record Calls, Auto Voicemail Transcription, etc.
Step 5: Toggle on the button beside the Auto Record Calls
The auto-record feature is number-specific so that it will record all calls to and from the number on the web or mobile apps.
Please note that you can only turn on the auto-record feature on the web or desktop app.
Note: Make sure you inform the person you're talking to that you wish to record the call before you begin recording.
You'll be on the law's right side when you allow them to opt-out of having the conversation recorded.
