Documents Required and Instructions to Register Your Alphanumeric Sender ID in the Philippines
You may have noticed that sometimes your message sent to the Philippines from an international long codes are replaced with a generic sender ID (e.g. ITCORP or INFO). This usually happens when the destination country number doesn’t support messages sent from international long codes.
Starting February 24, 2025, messages sent to the Philippines using unregistered Alphanumeric Sender IDs and international long codes will be intermittently blocked due to updated regulations aimed at reducing fraud. The blocked messages will not be sent later, although a failed messaging charges will still apply for these attempts.
To ensure uninterrupted messaging, you need to register your Alphanumeric Sender IDs before the final deadline on April 7, 2025, when all messages from unregistered IDs and international long codes will be permanently blocked. Unregistered messages sent before this date may also be filtered or replaced with a generic sender ID.

To ensure that the traffic is coming from a legitimate source, Mobile Network operators (MNOs) in the Philippines require that you provide the following documentation.
For Domestic Entities
Your company is registered and operates within the Philippines. You are a local business sending SMS to Filipino recipients.

If you’re a banking and financial entities, you need provide following documents, in addition to the LOAs mentioned above;
Business Registration or Articles of Incorporation
Business Permit
Specific regulatory agency licenses depending on industry (example: Banks require BSP licenses)
Business Permit or Mayor's Permit (Current Year) from the local government unit's (Business Permit and Licensing office) BPLO
If Sender ID to be registered has no clear relevance to business:
Intellectual Property Rights to the Brand Name OR
Secretary's Certificate specifying the proof of Sender ID relevance to the business
Instructions
Fill in the yellow highlighted fields—completely replace each field with your own information. If a field is not highlighted, don’t change it.
Have the documents signed by an authorized signatory of the Sender.
In the highlighted fields, add the Sender’s letterhead and/or logo, stamp and sign where indicated.
