How to Integrate your PCRecruiter Account with KrispCall

PCRecruiter is a recruitment CRM designed to manage candidates and clients effectively. On the other hand, KrispCall is a cloud phone system for handling calls and messages. Integrating them syncs call logs, SMS, notes, and contacts, making workflows smoother and records more accurate.


This guide will take you through the simple steps to connect your PCRecruiter account with KrispCall and how to manage the integration settings afterward.


Benefits of Integrating PCRecruiter with KrispCall


1. Easy Access to Call and SMS Logs


Once you integrate KrispCall with PCRecruiter, all incoming and outgoing calls and SMS are automatically logged under tickets and notes. This keeps the entire activity history organized in one place for each candidate or client.


Call recordings and voicemails also get synced during this process. When saved under notes, they appear as clickable links; in tasks, they show up as plain text for copying and pasting.


2. Two-Way Contact Sync


The integration supports two-way contact syncing, meaning contacts created or updated in either KrispCall or PCRecruiter automatically sync to the other platform. This ensures contact lists are consistent and up-to-date on both sides, eliminating the need for manual entry. 


Additionally, the initial sync feature ensures that all existing contacts are synced accurately at the beginning of the integration. With this, everyone is provided with the latest contact information, which helps streamline the recruiter workflow. 


3. Notes Sync for Accurate Record-Keeping


Notes made or edited during or after calls in KrispCall sync directly to PCRecruiter tickets. This automatic syncing helps recruiters maintain detailed and accurate records of every interaction without extra effort.


Recruiters can create, edit, or delete notes in KrispCall, and these changes are reflected in PCRecruiter. Candidate histories are updated in real time, enabling recruiters to make informed decisions throughout the hiring process.


4. Flexible Account Management


KrispCall allows you to connect multiple PCRecruiter accounts within a single workspace, each with its own distinct settings. This makes it easy for recruitment teams to handle different clients or departments without mixing up data.


Admins can control the integration settings for the whole team, while individual members can link their accounts. Everyone works independently, so changes stay separate and the entire team runs smoothly.


How to Integrate Your PCRecruiter Account with KrispCall


Step 1: Log in to the KrispCall account and go to Settings.


Step 2: In the settings section, Integrations can be seen under APP SETTINGS, click on Integrations.

Step 3: After clicking on integrations, different automation tools and CRMs can be found, which you can integrate with KrispCall. To integrate PCRecruiter from KrispCall, search for PCRecruiter  and click on the connect button below PCRecruiter.

Step 4: After clicking on the connect button, a pop-up window will appear asking for your permission to access certain information. Click accept or reject based on your needs.

(Notes: Sign in with your PCRecruiter credentials, including your Username, Password, and Database ID. To find your Database ID in PCRecruiter, navigate to System > API > API Settings.)


Step 5: Lastly, an integration success message pops up after the completion of integration. 


Manage member Integration settings by the admin/owner


  1. Ensure members have integrated PCRecruiter accounts.
  2. The admin/owner can view member integrations and make changes to members' account settings.
  3. Members cannot view admin/owner integrations.
  4. Member's settings changes don’t affect Admin/Owner’s settings.
  5. Admin/Owner setting changes don’t affect members' settings

Integration Settings 

After the successful integration of PCRecruiter, users can enable or disable different settings. In the first step, users can either edit or delete the integration.


  1. To delete the active integration, click on the 3 dots and choose the delete option.

  1. A pop-up window appears where you need to click the delete button. 

  1. Now, the integration status updated successfully message appears after the deletion is successful.

4. To edit the integration, click on the three dots and choose the edit option. The edit option provides different settings options where users can make changes according to their requirements.


General Settings


General settings is the first setting option where three additional settings options are available. All the toggle buttons on the general settings will be on by default.


  • Create new contacts for calls: This button helps in one-way contact sync if the toggle is on, i.e., the contact created in KrispCall gets synced to  PCRecruiter. If the toggle is off, then the contacts won’t be synced.


  • Contacts 2-way sync: This button helps in 2-way contact sync if the toggle is on, i.e., the contacts created in PCRecruiter get synced to KrispCall. If the toggle is off, then the contact won’t be synced. This button also helps in initial sync, i.e,. If there are previous contacts either in KrispCall or  PCRecruiter, then by toggling this button, the contacts get synced to both sides.


  • Notes logging: This option helps to sync notes to  PCRecruiter that are created/edited/deleted from the conversation box or during the call. Toggling off this button won’t sync notes to  PCRecruiter.

Workflow Settings


The workflow setting is present right after the general settings. All the options under workflow settings are set to Tickets at first. Users can click on the settings and change them as per their requirements.


  1. Log incoming answered calls as Calls(Engagements)/Disabled: By enabling the setting as Calls(Engagements), the incoming answered calls will be synced to tickets of PCRecruiter. By enabling the setting as Disabled, the incoming answered calls will not be synced to  PCRecruiter.


  1. Log incoming unanswered calls as Calls(Engagements)/Disabled: By enabling the setting as Calls(Engagements), the incoming unanswered calls will be synced to tickets of PCRecruiter. By enabling the setting as Disabled, the incoming unanswered calls will not be synced to PCRecruiter.


  1. Log outgoing answered calls as Calls(Engagements)/Disabled: By enabling the setting as Calls(Engagements), the outgoing answered calls will be synced to Tickets of  PCRecruiter. By enabling the setting as Disabled, the outgoing answered calls will not be synced to  PCRecruiter.


  1. Log outgoing unanswered calls as Calls(Engagements)/Disabled: By enabling the setting as Calls(Engagements), the outgoing unanswered calls will be synced to tickets of  PCRecruiter. By enabling the setting as Disabled, the outgoing unanswered calls will not be synced to  PCRecruiter.


  1. Log voicemail as Calls(Engagements)/Disabled: By enabling the settings as Calls(Engagements), the voicemail log will be synced to the tickets of PCRecruiter. By enabling the setting as Disabled, the voicemail log will not be synced to PCRecruiter.


  1. Log incoming SMS as Notes//Disabled: Enabling the setting as Notes will sync the incoming SMS to tickets of  PCRecruiter. However, it will not sync if the setting is disabled.     


  1. Log outgoing SMS as Notes/Disabled: Enabling the setting as Activities will sync the outgoing SMS to  Notes of PCRecruiter. However, it will not sync if the setting is disabled.   

Connected Numbers


The connected numbers setting is present after the workflow settings. Two options are available under connected numbers settings. 


  1. Log phone calls for these phone numbers: In this option, the list of numbers available in the channel will be selected by default at the time of integration. 


  1. Log SMS  for these phone numbers:  In this option, the list of numbers available in the channel will be selected by default at the time of integration. This setting is used to ensure the log of SMS for the selected numbers is synced at PCRecruiter.

If the user purchases the number after integration, then they need to add the number manually to the connected numbers.


Note:* If there are no selected numbers, then the call logs/SMS will not be synced in PCRecruiter. *
