How to Integrate Your Insightly Account with KrispCall?



Follow these simple steps to integrate your Insightly account with KrispCall:

Step 1: Log in to your KrispCall account and head to the Settings section to begin the integration.

Step 2: In**** App Settings, locate and click on Integrations to access available integrations.



Step 3: On the Integrations page, a list of CRMs and tools will appear. Scroll to find Insightly and click the Connect button to proceed.


Step 3: A pop-up will request your Insightly API key and email.



Step 4: To find the API key, log in to Insightly and open User Settings.



Step 5: In User Settings, scroll to locate and copy your API key.



Step 6: Back in KrispCall, paste the API key and enter your email, then click Submit.



Step 7: A success message will confirm that Insightly is now active in your integrations.



Integration Settings



To adjust integration settings, click on the three dots menu and select "Edit." From here, users can access a variety of settings to customize as needed.



General Settings



General settings are the first available options, with three key settings provided. By default, all toggle switches in General Settings are set to “On.”



Create New Contacts for Calls: This toggle enables one-way contact syncing. When enabled, contacts created in KrispCall are synced to Insightly. If turned off, contacts won't sync.

Contacts 2-Way Sync: This toggle supports two-way syncing. With this on, contacts created in Insightly also sync to KrispCall. This option also allows an initial sync of any pre-existing contacts on either side.

Notes Logging: This toggle controls the syncing of notes made or edited during calls or in the conversation box. Disabling it will stop syncing notes to Insightly.

Workflow Settings



Workflow settings are next, with all options initially set to log as Calls (Engagements). Users can modify these according to their needs.



Log Outgoing Answered Calls as Calls (Engagements)/Disabled: When set to Calls (Engagements), outgoing answered calls are synced to Insightly. If set to Disabled, they are not synced.

Log Outgoing Unanswered Calls as Calls (Engagements)/Disabled: Setting this to Calls (Engagements) enables syncing of outgoing unanswered calls to Insightly; setting it to Disabled prevents syncing.

Log Incoming Answered Calls as Calls (Engagements)/Disabled: When enabled as Calls (Engagements), incoming answered calls are synced to Insightly. When Disabled, they will not sync.

Log Incoming Unanswered Calls as Calls (Engagements)/Disabled: When enabled as Calls (Engagements), incoming unanswered calls are synced to Insightly. If Disabled, they won’t sync.

Log Voicemail as Calls (Engagements)/Disabled: Setting this to Calls (Engagements) will sync voicemail logs to Insightly; setting it to Disabled will prevent syncing.

Connected Numbers



This section follows workflow settings and includes one setting option.



Log Phone Calls for These Numbers: All available numbers in the channel will auto-select during the initial integration setup. New numbers purchased after integration must be manually added here.

Note: If no numbers are selected, call logs will not sync to Insightly.
