How to Integrate Your Greenhouse Account With KrispCall

Integrating Greenhouse with KrispCall unifies your hiring workflows and telephony activities in one place. Recruiters and hiring managers can handle candidate conversations directly alongside applications, interviews, and evaluation notes.

With this integration, every candidate interaction is automatically recorded in Greenhouse. Calls, voicemails, and notes sync instantly, giving your team the context they need before reaching out to applicants.

This guide walks you through the steps to connect KrispCall with Greenhouse, so you can manage candidate conversations without switching between tools.

Benefits of Integrating Greenhouse With KrispCall

Here are the key benefits Greenhouse integration with KrispCall brings to your hiring team:

1. Centralized Candidate Interactions

KrispCall and Greenhouse integration merge calls, voicemails, and notes into one candidate profile. Recruiters no longer juggle multiple tools, gaining a single reference point that simplifies communication tracking throughout the hiring process.

With every interaction aligned in Greenhouse, hiring teams can quickly review past conversations. This clarity ensures recruiters approach candidates with full context, leading to smoother conversations and confident decision-making every time.

2. Automatic Call and Note Logging

All calls made or received through KrispCall are logged in Greenhouse with timestamps and durations. Notes automatically attach to the correct profile, keeping candidate histories consistently complete and highly accurate.

This removes manual data entry tasks for recruiters, saving valuable time and reducing errors. With accurate logs preserved, teams maintain complete records while focusing on meaningful interactions with the candidate directly.

3. Better Candidate Context

Recruiters can access prior call histories and notes instantly within Greenhouse before contacting a candidate. This content ensures conversions are tailored, focused, and relevant, while minimizing repeated questions or unnecessary clarifications.

Equipped with accurate information, recruiters confidently engage candidates in meaningful discussions. Calls feel personalized and considerate, leaving candidates with stronger impressions and helping build trust during each stage of the hiring journey.

4. Improved Collaboration Across Teams

With the contacts syncing feature, every department, from recruiters to hiring managers, sees the same data. Shared visibility eliminated silos, ensuring consistent, aligned communication across teams during recruitment activities and interviews.

This synchronization improves team efficiency by avoiding duplicated efforts. Smooth handovers between departments ensure candidate experiences remain consistent, as no details are lost during transitions, strengthening trust in the hiring process.

5. Data-Driven Hiring Insights

The integration generates call data insights, including call volume, recruiter response times, and engagement levels. Managers can use this reporting to measure performance and monitor recruiter productivity effectively.

Access to accurate data supports informed strategy adjustments. Identifying patterns helps refine outreach methods and improve communication practices. Over time, hiring teams make decisions grounded in evidence, improving overall recruitment outcomes.

  1. To edit the integration, click on the 3 dots and select “Edit.” This opens up various settings options that can be adjusted as needed.

General Settings

The General Settings action is the first available option and includes three additional toggle settings. By default, all toggles are turned on.

  • Create new contacts for calls: When the toggle is ON, one-way contact sync is enabled, i.e., contacts created in KrispCall are synced to Greenhouse. If turned OFF, new contacts from KrispCall will not sync.

  • Contacts 2-way sync: When enabled, contacts are synced both ways. Any contact created in Greenhouse is synced to KrispCall, and vice versa. This also supports an initial sync, meaning existing contacts in either KrispCall or Greenhouse will be synced across both platforms. If turned off, contacts will not sync.

  • Notes logging: When enabled, notes created, edited, or deleted during a call or from the conversation box in KrispCall are synced to Greenhouse. If turned off, notes will not sync.

Workflow Settings

The Workflow Settings section comes right after the general settings. By default, all options here are set to Calls (Engagements), but users can change them as needed.

  1. Log outgoing answered calls as Call (Engagements)/Disabled: When set to Call (Engagements), outgoing answered calls will be synced to calls in Greenhouse. But when set to Disabled, outgoing answered calls will not be synced.

  6. Log Unassociated Number as Prospects/Candidates: When set to Prospects, unassociated contacts from KrispCall will be synced to the prospects section of Greenhouse. But when set to Candidates, unassociated contacts will be synced to the Candidates section of Greenhouse.

Note: This also applies to Contact sync. If “Prospects” is selected, contacts saved in KrispCall will sync to Prospects in Greenhouse. If “Candidates” is selected, all contacts will sync to the Candidates section instead.

  1. Log sms for these phone numbers: Similarly, the list of numbers available in the channel at the time of integration will be selected. This option ensures that SMS logs for the chosen numbers are synced with Greenhouse.
