How to Integrate Your Cloze Account with KrispCall?
Cloze, a relationship management CRM, when integrated with KrispCall, a cloud-based phone system, keeps your call logs, SMS messages, contacts, and notes in the same working environment. All your communication data from KrispCall appears directly in your Cloze timeline.
Once integrated, log phone calls, track SMS conversations, and access call recordings all without leaving Cloze, making every interaction part of your relationship history in one centralized platform.
This guide walks you through the steps to connect Cloze with KrispCall, enhancing your workflow while keeping everything organized.
Benefits of Integrating Cloze with KrispCall
Intelligent Relationship Management in One Place
Cloze automatically organizes all your communications into a unified timeline for each contact. By integrating KrispCall, your phone calls and SMS conversations now feed directly into this intelligent system.
This enhanced data allows Cloze's AI to better identify relationships that need attention and remind you to follow up. Instead of tracking phone activity separately, everything works together in one place to strengthen customer relationships without manual effort.
Call Handling Directly Inside Cloze
Make and receive calls without leaving your Cloze workspace. The KrispCall dialer integrates directly into Cloze, so you can click any contact's phone number to instantly place a call or send an SMS.
Agents can seamlessly reach customers without switching between applications, saving time and keeping you focused on building relationships rather than managing tools.
Complete History of Customer Interaction
Every call, SMS, and voicemail from KrispCall automatically appears in your Cloze timeline. Whether it's an answered call, a missed call, or a text message, all communication is logged with timestamps, durations, and call recordings.
This comprehensive history gives you complete context for every customer relationship, making it easy to pick up conversations where you left off and deliver more personalized service.
Notes Sync for Accurate Record-Keeping
Notes you create during calls or conversations in KrispCall sync with Cloze instantly. Any edits or deletions are reflected in real-time across both platforms, ensuring your records are always current.
Every team member can stay aligned with accurate information on customer needs, action items, and call outcomes, preventing miscommunication and missed opportunities.

Integration Settings
Once you've successfully integrated Cloze with KrispCall, you can customize various settings to match your workflow. You can also edit or delete the integration at any time.
To delete your active integration, click the 3 dots and select Delete.

To edit your integration, click the same 3 dots and select Edit. This provides different settings that allow users to make changes according to their requirements.

General Settings
General Settings is the first configuration option and includes three additional settings. All toggles are enabled by default when you first integrate Cloze.
- Create new contacts for calls: When enabled, any new contact created in KrispCall automatically syncs to Cloze (one-way sync from KrispCall to Cloze). Turning this off will stop contacts from being synced.
- Contacts 2-way sync: When enabled, contacts sync bidirectionally between both platforms. Contacts created in Cloze appear in KrispCall, and vice versa. This setting also handles initial sync, i.e., if you have existing contacts on either platform, toggling it on will sync them to both platforms. If the toggle is off, then the contact won’t be synced.
- Notes logging: When enabled, any notes you create, edit, or delete in KrispCall's conversation box or during calls sync to Cloze automatically. Toggling off this button won’t sync notes to Cloze.

Workflow Settings
The workflow setting is present right after the general settings. All the options under workflow settings are set to Calls (Engagements) by default. Users can click the settings and change them as needed.
1. Log incoming answered calls as Calls(Engagements)/Disabled: By enabling the setting as Calls(Engagements), the incoming answered calls will be synced to the timeline in Cloze. Enabling the Disabled setting means incoming answered calls will not be synced to Cloze.
2. Log incoming unanswered calls as Calls(Engagements)/Disabled: By enabling the setting as Calls(Engagements), the incoming unanswered calls will be synced to the timeline in Cloze. Enabling the Disabled setting prevents incoming unanswered calls from being synced to Cloze.
3. Log outgoing answered calls as Calls (Engagements)/Disabled: By enabling the setting to Calls (Engagements), outgoing answered calls will be synced to the timeline in Cloze. Enabling the setting to Disabled means outgoing answered calls will not be synced to Cloze.
4. Log outgoing unanswered calls as Calls(Engagements)/Disabled: By enabling the setting, Calls(Engagements), the outgoing unanswered calls will be synced to the Cloze Timeline. Enabling the setting as Disabled means the outgoing unanswered calls will not be synced to Cloze.
5. Log Voicemail as Calls (Engagements)/Disabled: Enabling the Calls (Engagements) setting syncs the voicemail log with tickets or activities in Cloze. Enabling the Disabled setting prevents the voicemail log from syncing to Cloze.
6. Log incoming SMS as Notes/Disabled: Enabling the setting to Notes will sync incoming SMS to the Timeline in Cloze. However, it will not sync if the setting is disabled.
7. Log outgoing SMS as Notes/Disabled: Enabling the Notes setting will sync outgoing SMS to Cloze's timeline. However, it will not sync if the setting is disabled.

Connected Numbers
Connected Numbers settings appear after Workflow Settings and control which phone numbers sync data to Cloze. This section includes two options:
1. Log phone calls for these phone numbers: All numbers available in your KrispCall channel are automatically selected when you first integrate. These numbers will have their call logs synced to Cloze.
2. Log SMS for these phone numbers: All numbers available in your KrispCall channel are automatically selected when you first integrate. These numbers will have their SMS messages synced to Cloze.
If you purchase new phone numbers after completing the integration, you'll need to manually add them to the Connected Numbers settings for their calls and SMS to sync.
Note: If no numbers are selected, call logs/SMS will not be synced in Cloze.
