How to Allow Microphone Access for KrispCall on Windows
Having trouble with people not hearing you on KrispCall?
If your microphone isn’t working during calls, it’s likely because your Windows system hasn’t granted KrispCall the proper permissions. This is a common issue, especially on new setups or after system updates.
It’s an easy fix. Just follow the steps below based on your Windows version to make sure your mic is enabled and working smoothly with KrispCall.
For Windows 11 users:
- Open the Settings app.
- Go to Privacy & Security → Microphone.
- Ensure that “Let desktop apps access your microphone” is toggled on.
This allows KrispCall to use your mic without any issues.
For Windows 10 users:
- Open Settings → Privacy → Microphone.
- Turn ON “Allow apps to access your microphone”.
- Under “Choose which apps can access your microphone”, make sure KrispCall is enabled.
Once done, KrispCall should be able to access your microphone for clear and uninterrupted calls.
