How to Integrate Your Zoho Recruit Account with KrispCall

Zoho Recruit is an AI-powered applicant tracking system, and KrispCall is a cloud-based phone system. Integrating them brings your recruiting calls, SMS messages, voicemails, and candidate notes right into your hiring workflow. Candidate records stay current, without manually updating two systems.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through the integration steps and explain how to configure your settings once everything is connected.

Benefits of Integrating Zoho Recruit with KrispCall

1. Automatic Call Logging

With KrispCall and Zoho Recruit integrated, every call is automatically recorded and synced back to the corresponding candidate profile in Zoho Recruit. Your recruiters no longer need to manually log call details, update statuses, or add follow-up notes after every interaction.

This reduces the risk of missing critical information and keeps your hiring pipeline accurate and audit-ready at all times.

2. One-Click Calling from Zoho Recruit

Place calls directly from a candidate's profile in Zoho Recruit, without switching apps or manually dialing numbers. A single click is all it takes to connect, saving time and eliminating the friction that slows down high-volume hiring teams.

Your recruiters stay inside their workflow, reach candidates faster, and spend more of their day on conversations that move the pipeline forward.

3. Smarter Hiring Conversations

The integration surfaces candidate details, application status, and recruiter notes directly within Zoho Recruit during an active call. See who they're speaking with, what role they applied for, and what was discussed previously, all before saying a word.

This added context helps recruiters personalize every conversation, ask the right questions, and move candidates through the pipeline faster.

4. Faster and Smoother Handoffs

Every call, text, and voicemails are automatically logged against the right candidate or job record. This gives your recruitment team a single, reliable place to track every touchpoint without jumping between platforms.

Having shared access to candidate data and call history means any recruiter can pick up exactly where a colleague left off without needing to request a briefing.

5. Real-Time Data Sync

Details updated in one platform are reflected instantly in the other. Your team is always working with the most current information, whether it's an updated phone number, a changed application status, or a new note added after an interview.

This eliminates the risk of reaching out with outdated details, keeping your hiring process moving forward without unnecessary back-and-forth or avoidable delays.

Integration Settings

After successfully integrating Zoho Recruit, users can enable or disable different settings. Users can also edit or delete the integration at any time.

To delete the active integration, click on Disconnect, then confirm it.

To edit the integration, click Settings on the active integration. This opens the configuration panel, where you can adjust the options below.

General Settings

General Settings is the first option, with all toggles enabled by default.

  1. Create new contacts for calls: When enabled, contacts created in KrispCall sync to Zoho Recruit (one-way). Turning it off stops that one-way contact sync.

  1. Contacts 2-way sync: When enabled, contacts created in Zoho Recruit sync to KrispCall, and vice versa. This also handles initial sync. Existing contacts from either platform are synced when you first enable this. Turning it off stops the sync going forward.

  1. Notes logging: When enabled, notes created, edited, or deleted in KrispCall's conversation box or during calls are synced to Zoho Recruit. Turning it off stops notes from syncing.

Workflow Settings

Workflow Settings appear right after General Settings. All options are set to Calls (Engagements) by default. Users can click on each setting and change it as needed.

  1. Log outgoing answered calls as Calls (Engagements)/Disabled: Setting this to Calls (Engagements) syncs outgoing answered calls to Zoho Recruit. Setting it to Disabled stops them from being synced.

Connected Numbers

Connected Numbers appears right after Workflow Settings. Two options are available under this section.

  2. Log SMS for these phone numbers: All numbers available in your KrispCall channel are selected by default during integration. This setting ensures SMS activity from the selected numbers is captured and synced to Zoho Recruit.

If you add a new number after the integration is set up, add it manually under Connected Numbers. It will not be included automatically.

Note: If no numbers are selected, call logs and SMS will not sync to Zoho Recruit.
