This guide walks you through the steps to connect your Brevo account with KrispCall and make the most of the integration.
Benefits of Integrating Brevo With KrispCall
1. Automatic call and activity logging
Every inbound and outbound call, voicemail, and SMS is automatically logged in Brevo. No manual entry, no missed interactions. Your team gets a complete activity history, including duration and recordings, without lifting a finger.
2. Two-way contact sync
Any contact you create or update in KrispCall is instantly synced to Brevo, and vice versa, eliminating duplicate entries and manual data entry. This ensures your team always works from accurate, up-to-date contact information, regardless of which platform they're in.
3. Notes and SMS sync
Notes added during or after a call in KrispCall are synced directly to Brevo. Outbound and inbound SMS activity is also automatically logged in Brevo, giving you a complete record of every customer touchpoint in one place.

Granular workflow settings let you choose exactly which call types, either answered, unanswered, voicemail, inbound, or outbound, get logged to Brevo, and in what format. You stay in control of what gets synced and what doesn't.

How to Integrate Your Brevo Account with KrispCall
Step 1: Log in to your KrispCall account and go to Settings.
Step 2: Under APP SETTINGS, click on Integrations, then select Marketplace.


Step 3: Browse or search for Brevo in the list of available integrations, then click on it to open its integration page.


Step 4: Click Add to KrispCall. A pop-up window will appear asking for your Brevo API Key and Email address.

Step 5: To get your API Key, log in to your Brevo account and navigate to Settings > SMTP & API > API Keys and MCP.

Step 6: Click Generate API Key, enter the Key Name, then click Generate.


Step 7: Copy the generated API Key.

Step 8: Paste the API Key and your email into the KrispCall pop-up, then click Connect.

Step 9: Click Submit. Once successful, a confirmation message will appear, and Brevo will show up under your active integrations.

Manage Member Integration Settings by the Admin/Owner
- Ensure members have their own integrated Brevo accounts.
- Admins/owners can view and modify members' integration settings.
- Members cannot view admin/owner integrations.
- Changes made by members do not affect admin/owner settings
- Changes made by admin/owner do not affect members' settings.


Integration Settings
After a successful integration, you can edit or delete the integration at any time.
To delete the active integration, click on the disconnect option from the integration menu.



To edit the integration, click on Settings. From there, you can make changes according to your requirements.

General Settings
General settings is the first option, with three additional settings available. All toggles under General Settings are enabled by default.
- Create new contacts for calls: When enabled, contacts created in KrispCall are synced to Brevo (one-way). Turning this off stops new contacts from syncing.
- Contacts 2-way sync: When enabled, contacts created in Brevo sync to KrispCall, and contacts from KrispCall sync to Brevo. This also triggers an initial sync of any existing contacts on either platform.
- Notes logging: When enabled, notes created, edited, or deleted from the KrispCall conversation box or during a call are synced to Brevo. Turning this off stops notes from syncing.

Workflow Settings
All workflow options default to Calls (Engagements). You can change each setting individually based on your needs.
- Log outgoing answered calls as Calls(Engagements)/Disabled: By enabling the setting as Calls(Engagements), the outgoing answered calls will be synced to Brevo. By setting this to Disabled, outgoing answered calls will not be synced to Brevo.
- Log outgoing unanswered calls as Calls(Engagements)/Disabled: By enabling the setting as Calls(Engagements), the outgoing unanswered calls will be synced to Brevo. By setting this to Disabled, outgoing unanswered calls will not be synced to Brevo.
- Log incoming answered calls as Calls(Engagements)/Disabled: By enabling the setting as Calls(Engagements), the incoming answered calls will be synced to Brevo. By setting this to Disabled, incoming answered calls will not be synced to Brevo.
- Log incoming unanswered calls as Calls(Engagements)/Disabled: By enabling the setting as Calls(Engagements), the incoming unanswered calls will be synced to Brevo. By setting the setting to Disabled, incoming unanswered calls will not be synced to Brevo.
- Log voicemail as Calls(Engagements)/Disabled: By enabling the settings as Calls(Engagements), the voicemail log will be synced to Brevo. When the setting is Disabled, the voicemail log will not be synced to Brevo.
- Log incoming SMS as Disabled/Notes: Enabling the setting as Notes will sync the incoming SMS to Brevo. However, it will not sync if the setting is disabled.
- Log outgoing SMS as DIsabled/Notes: Enabling the setting as Notes will sync the outgoing SMS to Brevo. However, it will not sync if the setting is disabled.

Connected Numbers
The Connected Numbers setting is present after the workflow settings. It gives control over which phone numbers are included in the sync.
- Log phone calls for these numbers: All numbers in your KrispCall channel are selected by default at integration time.
- Log SMS for these phone numbers: All numbers in your KrispCall channel are selected by default at integration time. This setting ensures that the SMS log for the selected numbers is synced with Brevo.
If you purchase a new number after the integration is set up, you'll need to add it manually under Connected Numbers.
Note: If no numbers are selected, call and SMS logs will not be synced to Brevo.
