How to Fix the "KrispCall Number is Unreachable" Issue
If someone calls you on your KrispCall number but cannot get through, or if your call is unreachable, there may be several reasons causing the issue. Listed below are some of the most common causes and the ways to resolve them:
1. KYC Not Completed
One of the reasons your KrispCall number becomes unreachable is due to the incomplete KYC (Know Your Customer) verification. If you’ve recently purchased your number but haven't completed your Know Your Customer (KYC) verification, it may restrict your ability to make and receive calls.
If your number was purchased recently but the verification is still pending, incoming and outgoing calls may be restricted. Please ensure that you’ve completed your verification to activate KrispCall functionality fully.
2. Timezone Conflicts
You may have set your number to be operated during specific business hours, based on your time zone setting. Hence, if anyone tries to call you outside of the set time frame, your number might appear unreachable or unavailable. Always double-check the workplace settings to adjust your availability.
3. All Agents Are Offline
At least one of your agents must be online for your number to function correctly. If none of your agents are available and online, KrispCall cannot route or forward the calls, which can make the number appear inactive.
Hence, you need to ensure that at least one of your agents is online and available during office hours to avoid missed calls.
4. Corrupted Audio Files (Voicemail/Greeting)
If you’ve set a custom-made voicemail or welcome greeting, and if the file is corrupted or improperly formatted, it may prevent calls from being processed correctly. Hence, try re-uploading the audio file in the recommended format or switch to a default greeting to test.
5. Subscription Expired or Payment Failed
If your subscription has ended or the linked payment method was not successful, your number may be temporarily inactive. Please log in to your account to review your billing status and renew your plan or number if necessary.
6. Account Suspended by Compliance
In some situations, your account may be suspended by KrispCall’s compliance team if a policy violation or unusual activity is detected. If you suspect this may have occurred, please contact our support team for further information and guidance.
